Preventive Measures And Ways To Avoid Contacting HIV/AIDS

HIV/AIDS is spreading fast among people all around the world and even though people are being educated about the disease, they still go ahead and fall victim to the deadly virus. So, I decided to share a few preventive measures for people to be able to avoid this menace.

1. Clinics and hospitals should avoid sharing or reusing needles and syringes.
2. No sex before marriage.
3. No sex outside marriage.
4. Razor blades and other skin cutting and piercing materials should not be shared
5. Blood transfusion should only be administered when such blood has been tested, screened and declared safe from HIV.
6. Constant or periodic test by individual, married partners is a sure way way of avoiding spread of HIV/AIDS.
7. HIV infected women should try to avoid getting pregnant. Use of contraceptic pills, condoms and other family planning methods should be adopted.
8. Excessive intake of alcohol, drug abuse should be avoided as they are capable of leading to risky behaviour which may result to HIV/AIDS.
9. Medical personnel and other people taking care of AIDS patients should wear gloves while bathing the AIDS patients.
10. clippers should be sterilized before usage at barbing salons.

Faithfulness is a very sure way of minimizing the spread of HIV/AIDS.
